New Life Project is a voluntary charitable organization, founded by Brenda Williams in Freetown, Sierra Leone. It was birthed from an evangelical campaign in 1994, when Brenda and some friends felt the need to reach out to under-privileged young women.
The Project was initially registered as a charitable organisation in April 2001 with the Government of Sierra Leone - under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children's Affairs and in 2009 under the Ministry of Education. The project grew to the Ivory Coast in 2004 and was registered as a Non-Governmental Organization under the Ministry of Territorial Administration in August 2009.
The Project is presently in partnership with organizations such as Geneva Global and Develop Africa Inc. in the United States of America and the Ministry of Aids in Ivory Coast and Due to our success in rehabilitating women’s lives we recently launched a scholarship trust in June 2009 in the USA with 501(c) 3 Tax Exempt Status.
