NewLife Designs is a division of NewLife Project Inc, a Non-Profit Organization and we make and sell custom-made outfits, African artifacts, and accessories while displaying the richness of the Black culture and educating the community on the importance of diversity. This event will educate you about the African fashion for different occasions and how you can use these outfits and accessories for various occasions. We will have a short modeling of outfits, and how they can be worn.

Three-fourth of our products are made here in Canada by women and youth in our Project. It is the income-generating division of the Project aimed to empower women in Ottawa, provide then with skills to assist in financial independence and stability, establish emotional well-being for can enhance their family and community. Our entrepreneurship program helps women and youth to set up and grow their own small businesses. The Entrepreneurship program equally addresses unemployment and creates self-employed business opportunities for women and youth who want to become entrepreneurs. We dedicate a percentage of our proceeds to charity.
